Kibrom Birhane is an "All African Music Award" winning Musician, Multi Instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, Record/Mix engineer, arranger and radio host for Coke Studio Radio Africa. Passionate about Ethiopian folk, world, Jazz, pop, Ethiojazz and gospel music. Kibrom started his musical career in a very early stage of his life; after he finished high school he joined a private music college "Mekane Yesus school of Jazz music"  and received his Associated Degree in music performance in 2007 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  He immediately  was hired by the school of Jazz as a Piano instructor and thought Piano there for 3 years. In 2011 Kibrom won a scholarship to study music production and sound engineering at the Los Angeles college of Music "LACM" in Pasadena, CA. While attending LACM, he was fortunate enough to learn under great musicians including, Sean Halley (Vinnie Colaiuta, Jerry Marotta ), Andrew Murdock (Godsmack, Alice Cooper, Linking Park ), Dave Pozzi (Celine Dion, Diana Krall), Howie Shear (George Benson, Stevie Wonder) and many others. Currently he is recording and performing  with musicians and Bands from all over the world such as, Dan Wilson ( Adele, Pink, Tylor Swift, John Legend, Dixie Chicks ), Michael Danna (Life of Pie), K' Naan,  Krucial Keys ( Alicia Keys, Keyisha Cole)  Ethiocali, Wondem, Quantic Music, Meklit Hadero, and many more.
